In an 1860s building, elegant delicacies are being created. Main Bite in Covington serves American small plates, which are delightful to look at and to eat. New to the neighborhood, Main Bite has its own herb garden and plots in the community gardens. “We can tell our customers exactly what is in the food, because everything is made in house,” says chef and owner Margie Potts.

Step into this colorful restaurant and try the Shrimp Guac Nachos or the Blackened Tilapia Tacos. Pair those with an Elderberry Royale cocktail and feel refreshed. Top off dinner with dessert, such as the Kentucky Bourbon Bread Pudding. Diners can sit outside in the courtyard or inside the restaurant.

“We get people from different places and a story to tell,” says Potts. “We are very fortunate.”
