Steven Frank has roots in Covington, Kentucky, that run five generations deep. In his role as a Senior Vice President - Investments of Wells Fargo Advisors, he has helped countless individuals, families and businesses meet their financial goals. In addition to his vast knowledge and professional expertise, Frank is actively involved in the community, serving in a number of important roles.

“We have Frank’s Men’s Shop on 32 Pike St. in Covington, which my cousin still runs. This is its 100th year. So, we’re about as Covington and Northern Kentucky as you can be,” says Steven Frank, Senior Vice President – Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors.

Frank has been involved in civic, charitable and philanthropic organizations on both sides of the river. Yet, there’s a soft spot for Northern Kentucky. It’s part of his DNA.

“I have clients across the globe, but the focus in my book has always been Northern Kentucky,” he says.

“It’s very much a people business. You have to love people, and take a genuine interest in their well-being and in their families’ well-being. I think one of the advantages of having done this for so long is you see what a difference you’ve been able to make in people’s lives,” says Frank.

“It’s like growing an oak tree, you don’t always see all the growth and the good things that are happening in the first year or two, but for the people that have been with you for 10, 20 or 30 years, it’s quite noticeable what we’ve been able to help people accomplish, and that’s very satisfying,” he says.

“We use a tool called Envision®. You can plan your investments around you and your goals. It tracks your progress, and it creates opportunities for us to review the future, and to make changes as your life and circumstances evolve,” Frank says.

He says, “My job is to help people figure out where they are, where they want to be by when and what kind of risk-taker they truly are, and getting their investments to align with achieving those goals.”

Frank began his career with Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter in 1985. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 1996. As a graduate of Covington Latin School, he earned his bachelor’s in philosophy from the University of Louisville. He obtained a CFP designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He has gone on to achieve other notable titles, such as Premier Advisor and PIM (Private Investment Management) Portfolio Manager.

In addition to working in the financial and investment industries for more than 30 years, Frank has previously served as the Vice Mayor of the City of Covington from 2010 to 2016. He is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of NKY and formerly served on the board of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he serves on the board of the Metropolitan Club and Covington’s Economic Development Authority.
