One sprained ankle, a back injury requiring three months of therapy, three cases of the flu with one resulting in mild dehydration, two cases of bronchitis, a severe concussion, one splinter the size of a toothpick, a broken toe and three fingers smashed in a garage door. That, folks, is a quick look at our family’s medical history so far in 2017!

As the parent of three young athletes and the wife of a farmer trust me when I say I understand the importance of having the best doctors and specialists on your health care team. That’s why I believe this issue is one of the most important we bring to you all year. Finding professionals to meet your family’s medical needs is key to keeping everyone healthy. We hope this guide helps you do just that.

Also in this issue, the weather may be getting colder but the courts are just heating up. Take a minute to meet the new University of Dayton Flyers men’s basketball coach Anthony Grant. And as we prepare for what is sure to be a busy holiday season, find something fun for everyone on your list in our Holiday Shopping Guide and get ahead of your holiday giving with our list of BBB-accredited nonprofit organizations.

As we come to the end of another year, we want to thank all of you for your faithfulness to and enthusiasm for the magazine. We hope you still love reading it as much as we love producing it.

Happy Holidays!
